Akrapovic Titanium Decat Header Set BMW R1300 GS

Optional headers constructed from the finest titanium offer an upgrade to a full system when used with the Akrapovic slip-on kit exhaust. Let your bike stand out with more power, beautiful design, and the unique Akrapovic sound.

This header set removes the catalytic converter and valve but includes a pre-muffler for better performance, better throttle response and great power increase across the rpm range.

An impressive weight reduction of 50% compared to the standard headers is achieved whilst the styling is completed with a carbon fibre heatshield.

These optional headers are also compatible with the Akrapovic standard (first fit) / BMW accessory Akrapovic silencer.

• Installation is plug-and-play, but remapping is mandatory
• When installing the Optional Header on Euro5+ motorbikes (2 lambda sensors), the engine check light will appear after identifying a deviation in the stock catalytic converter´s parameters.

Note:

1. When installing this header set, the motorcycle’s electronics will detect that the catalytic converter has been removed and thus will illuminate the informative cat warning light. This does not affect or alter the motorcycle’s rider modes or performance in any way.
2. Compatible with the BMW centre stand.
